Hi, everyone, my name is Nina, I am from Croatia, I have started growing Avs some months ago, I have some 20 leaves of fancy varieties, bought in the USA, which are now having babies...

My other passion are tropical hibiscus.

My aim is to collect about a hundred varieties and to start hybridizing, the same aim I have with hibiscus. These two plants are similar in the fact that both produce unique individuals from each seed.

Hi Nina and others !

I'm Veronique, living in Montreal, Canada. Actually, I'm Belgian but moved to Montreal almost 4 years ago.
I've been growing AV,s while I was living in Belgium but made that in a very "amateur" way ... I had no idea what was hidden beyond these nice little plants ;-)
Now I started again to grow and collect them, focusing on named violets and taking more attention of what happened to them and why it happens.
In other words, I start learning from my mistakes ;-)

Hello all! My name is Mona and I'm from Brunei and I love growing anything that blooms :D My favourite plants are african violets and adeniums but I do grow lots of other plants. I would love to try the russian avs...I think they're cool! Looking forward to getting more plant addict friends here...maybe we could do some trading?
