Mirage is unusual for it's foliage with the light colored ribs and also has a nice sized flower it is one of Ko's hybrids
Chameleon is a "color change" plant the flower is white when it opens and changes to a red/pink over several days the color depends a lot on the intensity of the light it gets, another Taiwan/Ko hybrid

Bob, i have the question about the last picture. There is so strange color of this adenium hybrid "Muang Monkol" Exclamation

I surprise what is the word in English describe this color correctly?
Maybe purple? Rolling Eyes

And Bob, here is the list of adenium species:

Arrow 1. Adenium obesum
Arrow 2. Adenium swazicum
Arrow 3. Adenium arabicum
Arrow 4. Adenium oleifolium
Arrow 5. Adenium somalense
Arrow 6. Adenium socotranum
Arrow 7. Adenium multiflorum
Arrow 8. Adenium boehmianum

What the species were the parent plants of this wonderful hybrid "Muang Monkol" Question

Muang Monkol  Reply with quote

Alex,
I am told the word "muang" means BLUE however it seem to be used for anything with a bluish tint, like magenta or purple, almost all the plants with flowers that show a bluish cast are "muang something" Muang Oraphan, Muang Tuang Thong, Muang Kanchana, Muang Champasak and so on.
As to the "name" of the color the closest named shade is "Plum" which has about the same % of r,b,g but higher amounts so it is darker/more saturated
than the flower, the r,g,b of "plum" is 221,160,221 the r,g,b of the flower is 178,120,168 so it is less saturated and slightly less blue.
As to what plants were used in hybridising it I have no idea at all, about the only one to know that would be the person who created the hybrid but I would guess that one of the plants was A. swazicum
